Korean & Japanese for Kids is the blog of HanaExplorers, a small shop that makes printable activities to help children learn their first Korean and Japanese words.

The shop is run by Soo, a native Korean speaker who works with Japanese every day. Everything here is written for busy grown-ups: parents raising bilingual kids, homeschool families, teachers, and families getting ready for a trip to Korea or Japan.

A note on our printables

Our artwork is created with the help of AI tools and then designed, checked and finished by hand. Sound guides use simple English spellings to get close to the real sounds; listening to native speakers is always a great next step.
