How to practice
- Role play a shop: Set up a pretend Korean convenience store with snacks. Your child says 안녕하세요, points and says 이거 주세요, then 감사합니다.
- Bow and say hello: A small bow with 안녕하세요 is polite and adorable.
- Dinner challenge: Say 맛있어요 at every family dinner the week before your trip.
Bonus: three fun words
사랑해 (sa-rang-hae) = I love you · 하나, 둘, 셋 (ha-na, dul, set) = one, two, three · 김밥 (gim-bap) = kimbap, the perfect picnic food for little travelers.
